Russell Bucher is a litigator and regulatory lawyer.

Russell's litigation practice centers on international arbitration and related court proceedings. He has represented a wide variety of foreign and domestic companies and individuals in international commercial arbitrations conducted under the arbitration rules of the International Chamber of Commerce, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, among others. Russell also handles complex commercial and corporate disputes in state and federal court, with an emphasis on transnational litigation.

In his regulatory practice, Russell advises clients within highly regulated industries, including electric and gas utilities, insurance companies, and telecommunications providers, concerning compliance with complex state and federal regulatory regimes. He also represents individuals, companies, and institutions in formal and informal proceedings before state administrative agencies, as well as in related administrative and judicial appeals. Russell has particular experience guiding clients from numerous sectors through the administrative-rulemaking process.

Russell also maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on federal court litigation involving immigration law and prisoners' rights.
