Glenn Weinstein Wins NABL Carlson Prize

Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Glenn Weinstein was named a winner of the Carlson Prize for best scholarly articles submitted for publication in The Bond Lawyer, a publication of the National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL).

Weinstein is one of four co-authors of the winning article, "Practical Considerations in Electronic Disclosure by State and Municipal Bond Issuers," which was published in the Fall 2019 edition of the Municipal Finance Journal and the Spring 2020 edition of The Bond Lawyer.

"Glenn is a veteran bond attorney and a nationally recognized expert and frequent speaker on municipal securities law issues, as acknowledged by this award," said Patrick McGow, Miller Canfield Public Finance Group Leader. "Glenn is a key figure in our Chicago practice and provides counsel to clients throughout the United States on sophisticated tax-exempt and taxable financings, including highway, housing and a variety of conduit and governmental projects."

Weinstein is a principal attorney in Miller Canfield's Chicago office. His practice focuses on assisting clients with debt finance, secured lending, project finance and related areas of tax, governmental, real estate and securities law. He is the former chair of the National Association of Bond Lawyers' Securities Law and Disclosure Committee.

The Carlson Prize named in honor of Rita J. and Charles P. Carlson. The prize will be presented during NABL's Annual Membership Meeting in September 2020.
