Miller Canfield Offers Labor & Employment Law Expertise for Human Resource Management Association of Mid-Michigan Seminar

The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that James B. Thelen, principal (Lansing, Mich.), and associate Scott R. Eldridge (Lansing, Mich.), will present and provide guidance on labor and employment legal topics for HR professionals at the Human Resource Management Association of Mid-Michigan (HRMAMM) Educational Seminar on Thursday, March 11, from 9:00 a.m. - noon at the James B. Henry Center for Executive Development in Lansing, Mich. (3535 Forest Rd.). 

Thelen and Eldridge will give an overview and update on pending legislation affecting the workplace and also discuss best practices from implementing reductions in workforces and other terminations.

The legal seminar portion is $50 (lunch included). This program has been approved for three general credit hours through the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). 

Human Resource Management Association of Mid-Michigan (HRMAMM) is an affiliate chapter of the non-profit organization, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), an international organization representing members, worldwide, in all areas of the human resources field through government and media representation, education and information services, conferences and seminars, and publications.
