Michelle is an associate who focuses on medical negligence and personal injury litigation and is well-versed in guiding clients through each stage of the trial process. Prior to joining Miller Canfield, Michelle was an associate for a Michigan-based firm providing legal counsel for victims of medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury. She also clerked at a complex business litigation firm, gaining valuable experience and insight into all aspects of litigation.

Michelle holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a major in Political Science from the University of Windsor, graduating with distinction and receiving the LEAD Medallion Scholar award for her academic achievements and community involvement.

While in law school, Michelle earned several academic honors, including three CALI/Book Awards, multiple Dean’s List recognitions, and the Top Oralist Award in the Detroit Mercy Law Junior Moot Court competition. She enhanced her education with various experiences, serving on the Moot Court Board of Advocates, as a Pupil in the American Inns of Court Detroit Mercy chapter, and as a student advocate at the Federal Pro Se Clinic for two semesters.

With a strong passion for advocating on behalf of those who have been injured, Michelle is dedicated to listening attentively to clients and providing thoughtful counsel throughout the litigation process.
