Magdalena Pilarska is a licensed attorney (adwokat) in the firm's Gdynia office. Her practice covers the area of personal data protection law, particularly within employment relationships and marketing activities. She has earned CIPP/E, the globally recognized certificate of expertise for information privacy issued by the International Association of Privacy Professionals, the most renowned community of experts on this subject.
Magdalena also advises clients, especially from the automotive sector, on issues within employment law and general civil law, including consumer protection and product liability. She assists companies with mergers and acquisition processes, particularly those involving tailored solutions for co-owners' future decision-making, and also negotiates and handles office space leases and other business litigation.
Representative Matters
Advised and represent a manufacturer of highly specialized noise control devices within a dispute over the performance of a supply agreement. Won extraordinary limitation of contractual damages to 1/10th the stipulated amount.
Advised a major capital group in reorganization, including mergers and shareholding shifts within the group – commercial law aspects.
Led a distributor of new vehicles and members of its dealership and service network in Poland through General Data Protection Regulation implementation, including local Polish provision specifics.
Negotiated a share transfer and shareholder agreement within a two-phase acquisition of a software provider in the travel industry which originated from a small startup. Particular focus on securing the founders' position for future decision-making processes in the company.
