Kasturi Bagchi manages risk for clients in real estate acquisitions and financings and other asset-based transactions. Having closed transactions from the perspective of a purchaser, seller, borrower or a lender, she quickly navigates through transactions, spots issues and solves problems in order to close deals on time and efficiently.
Kasturi previously served as a law clerk for the Hon. Judge William Albrecht and the Hon. Judge Harry K. Seybolt of the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Representative Matters
- Represent lenders in acquisition financing, construction lending, and ground lease financing for multi-family projects, office buildings, hotels and/or shopping centers nationwide from commitment stage through deed in lieu stage
- Represent receivers in the disposition of assets through sale or loan assumption
- Counsel bridge lender in mortgage loans, note purchases and note financings to rescue distressed borrowers from foreclosing lenders
- Build loan document templates for bridge lender launching new California lending program
- Create loan document templates for lender launching new line of credit program for financing manufactured homes
- Completed over $600 million in FNMA or Freddie Mac loans on behalf of borrowers
- Extensive experience assisting with acquisition and financing of manufactured home communities in multi-state and/or multi-property transactions
