She graduated cum laude from Wayne State University Law School, where she was a Board of Governor's Scholar. She possesses extensive judicial experience at both the state and federal trial court levels, serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Susan B. Jordan for the Jackson County 4th Circuit Court, as judicial attorney to the Honorable Janice K. Cunningham for the Eaton County 56th Circuit Court, and most recently as law clerk to the Honorable Robert H. Cleland for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
