L. Steven Platt Joins Miller Canfield

January 5, 2021

Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that L. Steven Platt has joined the firm's Employment and Labor Group. He will be based in the firm's Chicago office.

Platt was previously a partner at the Chicago firm of Robbins, Salomon & Patt, where he headed the labor and employment practice, with a special focus on employment litigation and class action wage and hour litigation.

"We are very happy to have Steven joining us," said Miller Canfield CEO Michael McGee. "With his decades of experience, he is an excellent addition to our powerhouse Employment and Labor Group, which is recognized nationwide."

Miller Canfield's Employment and Labor Group is widely respected as one of the best employment and labor practices in the country. U.S. News and World Report includes Miller Canfield among the nation's best law firms for management-side employment litigation and labor law, and "Chambers USA" ranks the firm among the top employment firms in Michigan.

Platt is a Fellow in the prestigious American College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. He is a recipient of the 2019 Martindale-Hubbell Client Champion Gold Award and is an ABA Lawyer of Distinction.
