Miller Canfield Welcomes Labor and Employment and Labor Attorney Grant Pecor

Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Grant Pecor has joined the firm as a principal attorney in the firm’s Labor & Employment Group in Grand Rapids. He brings more than two decades of experience advising public and private employers on labor relations, collective bargaining, and employment compliance matters.

Pecor joins the firm from Barnes & Thornburg, where he represented clients across industries including healthcare, higher education, manufacturing, municipal government, retail, cannabis, and transportation. He has extensive experience in labor negotiations, grievance arbitrations and employment disputes, appearing before federal and state courts, the National Labor Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

A recognized leader in his field, Pecor is a contributing editor to the American Bar Association’s “The Developing Labor Law,” and a frequent speaker at professional and industry conferences. He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America for labor and employment law and was named Lawyer of the Year for 2025.

Pecor earned his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law, where he served as a law review editor and moot court instructor.
