Miller Canfield Hires HR Director Karen Dell’Eva
Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Karen Dell’Eva has joined the Detroit-based international law firm as Director of Human Resources.
Dell’Eva comes to Miller Canfield from the architectural firm SmithGroup Inc.'s office in Detroit, where she led the firm’s compensation strategy in the Midwest and coached firm leadership on employee relations, compliance and talent development.
Dell’Eva was a key team member in corporate initiatives such as the firm’s Top Workplaces Committee, Benefits and Wellness Committee and the development of immigration compliance and best practices. She brings extensive experience in the delivery of HR action plans that support and facilitate growth, profitability and workplace culture. She has experience in change management and has designed and implemented internal and external hiring, onboarding and succession processes.
Prior to joining SmithGroup, Dell’Eva worked in HR roles in the automotive industry at Product and Tooling Technolgies Inc. in Fraser, Michigan, and Horiba International in Troy, Michigan, and in real estate at Real Estate One Inc. in Southfield, Michigan.
Dell’Eva is a graduate of Western Michigan University.
