Miller Canfield Names Jacob Koering as Chicago Resident Director

March 13, 2023

Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Jacob Koering will serve as the resident director of the firm’s office in Chicago.

Koering is a principal attorney whose practice focuses on intellectual property, litigation, and cybersecurity and data privacy. Licensed in Illinois and Minnesota, Koering represents clients in matters involving intellectual property portfolio development, protection and litigation, and issues surrounding the retention and protection of critical business data.

“Jake is an insightful leader with a deep understanding of the legal market in Chicago and what we can offer talented attorneys who are looking to make a change and join us in what we know is an exceptionally friendly office in the heart of downtown,” said Miller Canfield CEO Megan Norris. “He will provide excellent leadership as we continue to grow strategically in Chicago.”

Koering succeeds Darryl Davidson, who served as the office’s resident director since 2018 after serving as co-director since 2015.
