Kristin Hughes Joins Miller Canfield
Kristin Hughes has joined Miller Canfield in the law firm's Personal Services Group in its office in Troy, Michigan.
Formerly a senior trust officer with Plante Moran Trust, Hughes works with high-net-worth families and individuals in the administration of personal and charitable trusts, foundations, estates, special needs/care planning, and family office management. She also assisted with the settlement of probate estates and estate-like trusts and worked with families who had elder and special needs concerns to implement and administer a long-term plan for care and financial management of assets.
Hughes earned her B.A. from Michigan State University and her J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. She served as a law clerk for Oakland County Probate Court Judge Eugene Moore.
