Kiffi Ford Joins Miller Canfield

Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Kiffi Ford has joined the firm's Employment and Labor Group in the Lansing office.

Ford's practice focuses on representing employers in litigation, arbitration and the alternative dispute resolution process. She advises employers in pre-litigation investigations, strategy and negotiation, and reduction-in-force issues.

She also served as the executive director of legal services for Sparrow Health System, where she was responsible for managing the legal department's operations and personnel, and providing counsel and strategic guidance to the health system's leadership, with particular focus on labor relations, collective bargaining and compliance matters.

Ford is a graduate of the Wayne State University School of Law and Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where she earned her bachelor's degree in economics. She is a member of Lansing's Davis-Dunnings Bar Association and served on the State Bar of Michigan's Judicial Qualifications Committee from 2008 to 2020. She is the former chair of the State Bar of Michigan's Lawyer Referral Service Committee. She was awarded the Golden Gavel Award by the Wolverine Bar Association and was named as one of Michigan Lawyers Weekly's Lawyer of the Year recipients.
