Employment Lawyer Nicholas Huguelet Joins Miller Canfield in Detroit

Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Nicholas Huguelet has joined the firm as a senior attorney in the Employment and Labor Group. He will be based in the firm’s Detroit office.

Huguelet brings nearly 20 years of experience advising and defending public and private employers on labor and employment matters, including collective bargaining, labor arbitrations, workplace investigations, and litigation involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation and whistleblower claims.

“Nick has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor to employers navigating a fast-changing workplace landscape,” said Miller Canfield CEO Michael Palizzi. “His depth of experience and practical approach will be a strong asset to our clients and team.”

Huguelet is a frequent speaker and commentator on labor and employment issues and has contributed to several legal publications, including The Developing Labor Law. Licensed in Michigan and Ohio, he earned his law degree from the University of Toledo College of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.
