Miller Canfield Elects Danielle Mason Anderson to Serve as Chair of Managing Directors
Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Danielle Mason Anderson has been elected to serve as the new Chair of the Managing Directors.
Anderson is a principal attorney in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. She was elected to the Managing Directors in 2019 and has been the Resident Director of Miller Canfield’s office in Kalamazoo, Michigan, since 2014.
“Danielle has proven to be a strategic and inclusive leader who seeks out and carefully considers diverse viewpoints and opinions,” said Miller Canfield CEO Megan Norris. “She is also an outstanding ambassador and leader in the community.”
Anderson succeeds Miller Canfield Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group Co-Leader Amy Johnston, who chose to step down after serving as a Managing Director since 2016 and as the Chair since 2021.
“The firm and I are thankful to Amy for her leadership and service to the firm and for Danielle’s willingness to take on this new role,” Norris said.
In addition to her exceptional work at the firm, Anderson has played a leadership role in many Southwest Michigan civic organizations, including the Southwest Michigan First Board of Directors, the Kalamazoo County Juvenile Home Foundation Board of Directors, the Kalamazoo County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority and Economic Development Committee, and the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts Board of Directors.
