Brian Orr Joins Miller Canfield’s Intellectual Property Practice

Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Brian Orr has joined the law firm’s intellectual property practice in its Chicago office.

Orr’s practice focuses on transactional and litigation matters related to commercial and intellectual property law. He has experience in all aspects of intellectual property and complex litigation matters, focusing on patent, copyright, trademark and trade secrets cases. He has experience in industries including software, medical devices, automotive, aviation, manufacturing and apparel. Orr also has experience in mechanical, chemical and software technologies.

Orr is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago.

Orr is a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law and earned a bachelor's degree in metallurgical and materials engineering from Michigan Technological University.
