Miller Canfield IP Attorney Marjory Basile Inducted to Michigan Lawyers Weekly Hall of Fame

Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Marjory Basile has been included in Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s 2022 Hall of Fame.

She is a member of Miller Canfield’s Intellectual Property practice, which helps clients protect and maximize the value of their intellectual property assets by partnering with them to develop comprehensive strategies tailored to their unique needs.

Basile’s notable work includes representation of companies of all sizes in matters involving trademark procurement, trademark infringement litigation and the management of worldwide trademark portfolios.

Basile has held several key leadership positions within the firm, was one of the first women to become a partner at Miller Canfield and was the firm’s first woman to become a practice group leader.

She is active in state, local and federal bar associations and professional organizations. She is an American Bar Foundation Fellow and has held several leadership positions in the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan Intellectual Property Law Section and the 21st Century Practice Task Force. Basile is a longtime member of the Michigan Supreme Court Historical Society, a charter fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and the Software Patent Institute.

Michigan Lawyers Weekly will recognize the 2022 Hall of Fame at a luncheon on April 8, 2022.
