Miller Canfield Expands Intellectual Property Practice, Adds Anita Marinelli

February 27, 2019

Miller Canfield has added to its growing Intellectual Property Group with the hiring of litigation attorney Anita C. Marinelli, who has joined the firm's Detroit office.

Marinelli's practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, biological and chemical patent prosecution, intellectual property license and asset purchase agreements, and litigation strategy development.

"Intellectual property continues to be a rapidly growing practice for our firm, and Anita is an excellent addition to our robust team," said Miller Canfield CEO Michael McGee. Marinelli's arrival follows recent additions in the firm's Chicago, Detroit and Kalamazoo offices.

Licensed in Michigan and Ontario, Canada, Marinelli earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy and University of Windsor, and her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and medical science from the University of Western Ontario.
