Attorney Trent Taylor Appointed Resident Director of Miller Canfield's Grand Rapids Office

November 9, 2011

Michigan’s largest law firm, Miller Canfield, has appointed attorney Trent J. Taylor as resident director of its strategic Grand Rapids office. He is a principal in Miller Canfield’s Financial and Institutions Group, practicing in commercial lending, general business law, and real estate. He joined the firm in 2000 after receiving his J.D. from The University of Michigan Law School.

“Many of our business clients are expanding in west Michigan and doing business in China, Mexico, Canada, and Europe,” Trent said. “Miller Canfield’s team on the ground in Grand Rapids is helping global companies, privately-held businesses, and municipalities with legal, business, and regulatory matters.”

Trent said clients appreciate the access to Miller Canfield offices in Chicago, New York, Toronto, Monterrey, Warsaw, and Shanghai. Miller Canfield represents many global manufacturers and R&D centers establishing operations in Michigan.

Trent and his wife, Wendy, have three children and live in Grandville, Michigan.
