Miller Canfield Lawyer Clifford Taylor Presents with Retired U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor
Clifford W. Taylor, former Chief Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court and of counsel in the Lansing, Mich. office of Miller Canfield, presented “A Forum on Methods of Judicial Selection” along with retired U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor. The Michigan Task Force on Methods of Judicial Selection sponsored the event held at the Wayne State University Law School on June 14 in Detroit.
At Miller Canfield, Taylor appears on behalf of amici curiae on appeals involving federal and state constitutional, statutory and public policy matters. He consults regarding appeal strategy, court decisions and justices, settlement strategy on appeal, and participates in mock appeals and preparation for oral argument on appeal. He also serves as an arbitrator and mediator.
He received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and his B.A. from the University of Michigan.
