Michigan Supreme Court Appoints William J. Danhof as Chair of Attorney Discipline Board

The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that the Michigan Supreme Court has appointed lawyer William J. Danhof, a principal in the Lansing office, as chairperson of the board of the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board (ADB) for a one-year term.

The ADB consists of six attorneys and three non-attorneys appointed by the Michigan Supreme Court and is an adjudicative arm of the Michigan Supreme Court to supervise and discipline Michigan attorneys.

At Miller Canfield, Danhof is a former managing director of the firm, the founding member of the Lansing office and a former chair of the Public Law Group. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan Client Protection Fund Committee and is a past president of the American College of Bond Counsel, of which he is a founding member.  He is honored as one of the best lawyers in the country in the areas of public finance and banking law in The Best Lawyers in America and Michigan Super Lawyers.

He received his B.A. from Michigan State University and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
