Miller Canfield Lawyer Irene Bruce Hathaway Inducted to Litigation Counsel of America

Miller Canfield principal Irene Bruce Hathaway (Detroit, Mich. office) has been selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) for her effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation and trial work.

In more than 25 years of practice as a litigator, she has handled more than 100 trials, dozens of arbitrations and more than 200 appeals or applications of leave to appeal and has been involved in a variety of cases involving numerous industries from manufacturing to health care to software sales. Her extensive history includes commercial litigation, catastrophic tort cases, insurance coverage, wrongful discharge and civil rights, and slander and libel.

She received her J.D. from Michigan State University Law School and B.A. from the University of Michigan.

The Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) is an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society established to reflect the new face of the American bar. Membership is limited to 3,500 Fellows, representing less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers
