Women's Franchise Network of Southeast Michigan Meets Wednesday, June 9 in Detroit

May 27, 2010

The Women’s Franchise Network (WFN) of Southeast Michigan, an affiliate of the International Franchise Association, presents “All’s Well that Ends Well” on Wednesday, June 9, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the downtown Detroit office of Miller Canfield at 150 W. Jefferson, Suite 2500.

The program will feature franchise “plays” in four acts: Oft Expectation Fails: The Agreement; What’s in a Name? The Trademarks; What’s Done, is Done: Constructive Termination; and To Be or Not To Be: In Litigation.  The “cast” includes Miller Canfield attorneys Jean-Vierre Adams, Irene Hathaway, Amy Johnston, and Kristen Spano, with audience participation.

“The WFN meetings are a great way for people to network with other leading franchise professionals. We’re looking forward to presenting franchise legal topics in an informative and playful way,” said P. Rivka Schochet, chair of WFN of Southeast Michigan and Miller Canfield franchise attorney.

WFN of SE MI meets quarterly for educational presentations on franchising and business networking.  Membership is encouraged.  There is no charge to attend your first meeting. Parking is provided. To RSVP, become a member of the WFN or for more information, please contact Virginia Herrick, herrick@millercanfield.com or 313.496.7548.

This WFN meeting is sponsored by the Franchise and Distribution Team at the law firm of Miller Canfield.
