Miller Canfield Lawyer Michael Traison Elected to Polish American Association and America Israel Chamber of Commerce Boards

The law firm of Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Michael H. Traison, a principal in the firm’s Chicago and Detroit offices, will serve a three-year term on the board of directors for the Polish American Association (PAA) in Chicago. In addition, he was elected as vice president of the board of directors of the America-Israel Chamber of Commerce (AICC) Chicago. Traison is an American Jewish lawyer who is dedicated to continuing the dialogue of Polish-Jewish relations.

The Polish American Association is the largest and oldest human services agency serving the diverse needs of the Polish community in the Chicago metro area. The America-Israel Chamber of Commerce (AICC) Chicago is a non-profit organization specializing in connecting U.S. and global companies with Israel’s numerous commercial, industrial and scientific capabilities.

Traison specializes in helping businesses solve their commercial and financial problems including bankruptcy and restructuring as well as providing expertise in international trade & export controls, representing clients in Israel, Poland, the Czech Republic and other areas of Eastern Europe.

He received both his M.Ed. and Ph.B. from Wayne State University and his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law.
