Miller Canfield Elects Joe Fazio as Chair of Managing Directors
The law firm of Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Joseph M. Fazio has been elected chair of the managing directors, the firm’s five-person management administration. The managing directors work closely with CEO Michael W. Hartmann to oversee the firm’s 18 offices and 370 lawyers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Poland and China.
Fazio is a principal in the Real Estate Group in the Ann Arbor, Michigan office. His specific areas of expertise include complex commercial real estate acquisitions and developments, with extensive experience in ground leasing, entity formation, public/private development agreements, as well as conventional, securitized and tax-increment financing. He is recognized in The Best Lawyers in America, Chambers USA and Michigan Super Lawyers for his real estate work. He received his B.A. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School. He resides in Ann Arbor, where he has served on the boards of the Ann Arbor Art Center and Ann Arbor Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.
