Amanda Van Dusen Named Miller Canfield's New Public Finance Group Leader

The law firm of Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Amanda Van Dusen, principal (Detroit, Mich.), has been appointed leader of the Public Finance Group. Van Dusen served as co-leader of the Public Finance Group for the past two years with William J. Danhof, a principal in the Lansing, Mich. office.

Van Dusen joins a distinguished list of public finance lawyers who have led Miller Canfield’s Public Finance Group, including most recently Danhof, who succeeded Joel L. Piell, who followed the original chair, Stratton S. Brown.

Van Dusen has an extensive background in all aspects of public-sector finance and in addition to serving as bond counsel in financing transactions, focuses on such areas as elections, campaign finance compliance, state and federal tax issues, and general finance including budgets, revenue sources and cash flow. She received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and B.A. from Williams College.
