November 9, 2009

The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that principal Todd Holleman (Detroit, Mich.) will serve a third term (2009-2010) as Co-Chair of the Appellate Practice Committee for the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Litigation.

Holleman has a broad base of litigation and appellate practice experience in state and federal courts. He moderated the panel, “May It Please The Court: Oral Advocacy Do’s and Don’ts” at the ABA Section of Litigation’s Annual Conference (Atlanta, GA, April 2009), which featured a mock oral argument by leading Supreme Court advocates Ken Starr and Pam Karlan. Holleman received his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School and his B.B.A. from Grand Valley State University.

The American Bar Association (ABA) is the largest voluntary professional association in the world, providing law school accreditation, continuing legal education, information and programs to more than 400,000 members. The Appellate Practice Committee for the Section of Litigation, the largest specialty section of the ABA, strives to simplify the appellate process and helps litigators become more effective advocates for their clients.
