Miller Canfield Lawyer Michael Traison Moderates Middle East Panel at ABA Annual Meeting in Chicago
The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that Michael H. Traison, a principal in the Chicago office, will moderate a panel discussion at the American Bar Association (ABA) Annual Meeting on “Commerce, Law and Doing Business in the Middle East” on July 31 from 8:30-10:00 a.m. on behalf of the ABA International Section.
Representatives from Egypt, Israel, Jordan, the Palestinian Authority, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates will discuss the increase in trade and activity in the business and legal sectors.
In addition, on July 31 at 7:00 p.m., in honor of the guests representing the Middle Eastern countries, there will be a Shabbat Dinner hosted by the American Association of Jewish Lawyers and Jurists (AAJLJ) through its representatives: Michael H. Traison focuses his practice on international law, commercial law, commercial litigation and debtor-creditor relations, with particular emphasis on the representation of unsecured creditors, committees, trustees and debtors under Chapter 11 and out-of-court workouts. He received his law degree, magna cum laude, from the Michigan State University College of Law where he was a member of the Law Review, and a M.Ed. and Ph.B. from Wayne State University.
