Miller Canfield Attorney Named One of the World's Top Labor and Employment Lawyers

The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that Charles (Sandy) Mishkind, a principal in the Grand Rapids office, has been selected as one of America’s Top 25 Lawyers in labor and employment law by the Guide to the World’s Leading Lawyers – Best of the Best USA 2009, published by Legal Media Group. In addition, he has been recognized as one of the top labor and employment lawyers in the world by The International Who’s Who of Management Labour & Employment Lawyers 2009, published by Who’s Who Legal.

These referral guides feature individuals nominated by in-house counsel and fellow lawyers around the world.

At Miller Canfield, Mishkind specializes in labor, employment and benefit matters and related litigation.

He is a fellow of the American College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and a charter fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Council. He is a member of the National Employment Law Institute Advisory Board, American Employment Law Council, U.S. Chamber of Commerce Labor Law Committee, National Retail Federation Committee on Employment Law, and is Co-Chair of the National Finance Industry Labor Law Committee. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, and Labor Section of the State Bar of Michigan.

He received his J.D. from the University of Arizona Law School, and holds a master’s of labor law from the New York University Law Center. He earned a B.A. from the University of Arizona.
