Miller Canfield Attorney Paul Fogo Elected to American Chamber of Commerce in Poland Board of Directors

The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that Paul Fogo, senior counsel in the firm’s Warsaw, Poland office, has been elected to a two-year term as a member of the board of directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Poland--with 350 member American companies doing business in Poland--serves and promotes its member companies to be the leading voice of business in Poland, while fostering a positive relationship with the government and people of Poland to promote the free market spirit for the benefit of the business environment.

Paul Fogo is a licensed American attorney with extensive experience in the real estate and foreign  investment sectors. He specializes in advising foreign investors entering Poland and Polish investors entering U.S. and European markets. He also represents foreign investors acquiring real estate in Poland and assists foreign copyright and trademark owners in protecting their rights under Polish and Eastern Europe law.

Fogo writes a bi-weekly legal column for the Warsaw Business Journal, as well as a monthly column for American Chamber’s monthly magazine, American Investor.

He received his B.A. from the University of Virginia, and his J.D. from Columbus School of Law, Catholic University of America. Originally from Virginia, he has called Warsaw home for more than a decade.
