Criminal Defense Lawyer Robert Morad Joins Miller Canfield

The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that Robert J. Morad has joined the firm as senior counsel in the Troy, Michigan office, specializing in criminal and civil defense and litigation. In more than a decade, he has tried nearly 100 cases to jury verdict.

Morad is a former assistant prosecuting attorney for Oakland County and a former assistant state attorney for the Palm Beach County State Attorneys’ Office. His experience gives him real world know-how to advise clients throughout the litigation process, representing clients through all phases of the state criminal justice system, including investigation, pre-trial proceedings, motion practice, and trial.

He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, The Florida Bar, and Oakland County Bar Association. He is involved in Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Building Bridges.

Morad received his B.A. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. He is a 1988 graduate of Brother Rice High School.
