Corporate Attorney John M. Novak Joins Miller Canfield

The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that John M. Novak has joined the firm as a principal in the Kalamazoo office. Novak’s practice specialties include corporate law counseling, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity transactions, financial institution matters and real estate development. He represents public, private and start-up entities, individual investors, private equity funds and bank and bank holding companies.

Novak is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, and Kalamazoo County Bar Association. He is a member of the board of directors of Keystone Community Bank and its executive committee, a corporate member of MichBio and member of Michigan Association of Community Bankers.

He received his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and his B.S. from Purdue University.
