Miller Canfield Attorney Named One of the World's Top 25 Labor and Employment Lawyers by Referral Guide

Charles (Sandy) Mishkind, a principal in the Grand Rapids office of Miller Canfield, has been selected as one of the World’s Top 25 Lawyers in labor and employment law by the Guide to the World’s Leading Labour and Employment Lawyers, 7th edition, published by Legal Media Group. The publication features only individuals nominated by in-house counsel and by fellow lawyers around the world.

At Miller Canfield, Mishkind specializes in labor, employment and benefit matters, and related litigation.

He is a fellow of the American College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and a charter fellow of the American College of Employee Benefits Council. He is a member of the National Employment Law Institute Advisory Board, the American Employment Law Council, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Labor Law Committee, the National Retail Federation Committee on Employment Law, and is Co-Chair of the National Finance Industry Labor Law Committee. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, and the Labor Section of the State Bar of Michigan.

He received his J.D. from the University of Arizona Law School, and holds a master’s of labor law from the New York University Law Center. He earned a B.A. from the University of Arizona, where he majored in history.

The law firm of Miller Canfield was established in Detroit in 1852 and employs more than 800 in offices in Michigan, Illinois, Massachusetts, Florida, New York, Canada and Poland.
