Miller Canfield Attorney Appointed to Board of Directors of Washtenaw Community College Foundation

The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that Ms. Soni Mithani, a principal in the Ann Arbor office, was recently appointed to a three-year term on the Board of Directors of the Washtenaw Community College Foundation, effective July 1, 2007.

Mithani is a commercial litigator in the firm. Her practice covers all general commercial matters involving disputed contracts and business torts. She specializes in handling false claims act claims, healthcare litigation matters and construction disputes.

She is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, where she serves on the District G Character and Fitness Committee, the District of Columbia Bar Association, and the Washtenaw County Bar Association, serving on its Board of Directors from 2004-2006. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum.

She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, and earned a B.B.A. with high distinction from the University of Michigan.

She resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
