Area investment advisors and registered representatives are invited to join the law firm of Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C. at the upcoming Before the Bell Breakfast Forum on Thursday, August 11, from 7:15-8:30 a.m. at the Townsend Hotel (One Hundred Townsend Street, Birmingham). This month’s forum will feature Chad Hartwick, State of Michigan Securities Examination Manager for Southeast Michigan, who will provide information on trends, enforcement areas of focus, direction of future enforcement efforts, investor responsibility, education of the investor and how this figures in state compliance.
