Miller Canfield & Conestoga-Rovers Discuss Environmental Compliance Issues

February 10, 2004

The task of maintaining a compliant workplace is overwhelming and costly for most companies. However, the penalties and liabilities associated with not being in compliance can be detrimental to a company’s bottom line and future. Join the law firm of Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C. and Conestoga-Rovers & Associates at an informational conference on “Understanding Compliance Issues: Designing and Maintaining an Environmental Compliance Program,” Thursday, February 26, from 1-4 p.m. at the Hilton Northfield in Troy.

Environmental attorneys from Miller Canfield and consultants from Conestoga-Rovers will discuss setting up audits to preserve confidentiality and limit risk; outlining and addressing air, waste, water, and health and safety compliance issues, and implementing an ISO 14001 management system.

Cost is $15 per person. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. The Hilton Northfield in Troy is located at 5500 Crooks Road. For reservations, contact Katrina Lorenz at 734/453-5123 or klorenz@craworld.com.
