Miller Canfield Before the Bell Breakfast Forum

August 4, 2004

Area investment advisors and registered representatives are invited to join the law firm of Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C. at the upcoming Before the Bell breakfast forum: “Margin Accounts: No Margin for Error.” The forum will be held on Thursday, August 12, from 7:15-8:30 a.m. at the Townsend Hotel in Birmingham.

“The use of margin accounts has recently come under heightened regulatory scrutiny,” said Michael P. Coakley , forum presenter and securities attorney at Miller Canfield. “It’s important for investment advisors and registered representatives to be fully apprised of the recently revised margin disclosure rules and know how to service margin accounts in this ever-changing regulatory environment.”

Space is limited; advance registration is required. Please RSVP to 248/267-3337 or houser@millercanfield.com. There is no cost to attend; however, the Before the Bell forum is limited to registered representatives and investment advisors.

Miller Canfield's Before the Bell breakfast forums are monthly, Thursday morning informational meetings which highlight securities law issues. Mark your calendar for upcoming forums on September 9, October 21, November 11, and December 9.
