Miller Canfield Named Among Top Law Firms in Grand Rapids by Corporate Board Magazine

July 16, 2003

Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C. announces that it has been named among Grand Rapid’s top corporate law firms for 2003 by Corporate Board Member magazine.

The bimonthly publication conducted its third annual Legal Industry Research Study, which surveyed directors of publicly traded companies within the Grand Rapids market. The survey requested directors to "Select the five local law firms which you consider to be the most respected corporate law firms in your community."

Corporate Board Member highlighted only two Michigan markets – Detroit and Grand Rapids – and Miller Canfield ranked among the top law firms in both. "The success of our firm is a result of efforts from individuals from all of our offices and we are proud to be recognized for our work," said Thomas W. Linn, CEO, of Miller Canfield.

Announced in June, Miller Canfield also ranked number one in the state among Michigan corporate law firms by Chambers USA 2003-2004 Guide.

The 300-attorney law firm of Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C. was established in Detroit in 1852 and has offices in Ann Arbor, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Howell, Kalamazoo, Lansing, Monroe, and Troy, Michigan. Other offices are located in New York City, Pensacola, Florida, Washington, D.C., Windsor, Ontario, and in Gdynia, Katowice, and Warsaw, Poland. Visit www.millercanfield.com.
