Attorney to Serve on the Professional Advisory Committee for the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute
Beverly Hall Burns, a principal and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the law firm of Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C., has agreed to serve on the Professional Advisory Committee for the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute Post Acute Services. The Patient Advisory Committee is a board that is made up of people from the community that volunteer their services to Karmanos Home Care and Hospice.
Ms. Burns is a member of the Michigan Bar Association's Labor Law Section, the American Bar Association's Labor Law Section and Committee on Law Firm Management; Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association; Michigan Council of School Attorneys and National Council of School Attorneys. She is past chair of the Grosse Pointe War Memorial Board of Directors, serves on the Board of Directors of the Economic Club of Detroit, and is a fellow of the Michigan Bar Foundation.
She resides in Grosse Pointe.
