Lynn Gandhi Joins Miller Canfield's Litigation and State & Local Tax Practices
The law firm of Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C. is pleased to announce that Lynn A. Gandhi has joined the firm as a principal in the Detroit office. She brings nearly 20 years’ experience in tax law to the firm’s Litigation and State and Local Tax Practice groups.
Ms. Gandhi joins Miller Canfield from Visteon Corporation where she was an associate general counsel. There she led the Global Business Incentives practice, which included finance, business operations, government affairs and corporate strategy. She also assisted in mergers and acquisitions, fixed asset financings and securitizations, and handled energy related contracts and real estate transactions.
Her previous work experience also includes tax counsel and director at Visteon Corporation; senior tax attorney at CMS Energy in Dearborn, Michigan; and tax counsel at Praxair, Inc. in Connecticut and CBI Industries, Inc. in Illinois.

Ms. Gandhi is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Bar Association Section of Taxation and Michigan Manufacturers Association Tax Advisory Committee. She is a board member of the Council on State Taxation and is an adjunct professor at Wayne State University School of Law.
She received her LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law and her J.D. from Wayne State University School of Law, where she was assistant survey editor of the Wayne Law Review and received the Warwick Fellowship at the University of Warwick in England. She received her B.A. cum laude from Kalamazoo College.
She resides in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
