Attorney Appears on "Due Process" Show
a principal in the Troy office of the law firm of Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C., recently participated in the Oakland County Bar Association's "Due Process" show which aired on WDIV-TV on April 24, 2001. The session, focusing on Estate Planning, was geared to the general public.
Mr. Konop, who serves as the resident director of Miller Canfield's Troy office, has been an estate planning attorney since 1974. He concentrates his practice on federal and Michigan estate gift and inheritance taxes, probate, international estate planning, and probate litigation. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan (Probate and Estate Planning Section), State Bar of Illinois, District of Columbia Bar Association, Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Detroit, and a member of the Probate and Estate Planning Advisory Board of the Institute of Continuing Legal Education.
He has published numerous articles in various publications, all dealing with estate planning.
