Miller Canfield Ranks First in State for Municipal Bond Work
Miller Canfield, a global law firm headquartered in Detroit, has announced that it has again been ranked first among Michigan bond counsel law firms in the 2016 Bond Counsel Rankings, published by Thomson Reuters. Miller Canfield bond attorneys opined on Michigan municipal bond issues totaling more than $4.6 billion in 2016. Additionally, the firm’s Chicago office opined on bond issues totaling $120 million. Firm-wide, Miller Canfield ranked fourth in the Mideast Region.
Miller Canfield’s Public Finance group is the largest group of municipal finance experts in Michigan. The firm has been ranked No. 1 in Michigan nearly all of the more than 30 years the rankings have been published.
