Chicago Environmental Lawyer Lawrence W. Falbe Joins Miller Canfield
Miller Canfield announces that attorney Lawrence W. Falbe has joined the firm as a principal in the Energy, Environmental and Regulatory Group in Chicago. He brings over 20 years of experience in environmental transactional support of real estate and corporate deals, environmental defense and litigation, brownfields issues, environmental compliance and energy development/facility siting.

Falbe is a frequent lecturer and author on a wide variety of environmental legal topics and has served as an adjunct professor of environmental law at Northwestern University School of Law.
He is a member of numerous professional and civic organizations, including a recent gubernatorial appointment to the Illinois Enterprise Zone Board. He also serves on the METRA Citizens' Advisory Board, the boards of the Illinois Association of Environmental Professionals, Conserve Lake County (formerly Liberty Prairie Conservancy), Mettawa Open Lands Association and Gus Berthold Electric Company. He is a member of the Technology and Manufacturing Association, the Chemical Industry Council of Illinois, the Illinois Association of Wastewater Agencies, and the Metropolitan Planning Council. He serves as pro bono counsel for Lake County Partners and Busy Brains Children's Museum.
He received his Certificate of Executive Management from the University of Notre Dame, Mendoza College of Business, his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and his B.A. from Augustana College.
