Miller Canfield Lawyer Amber Sturrus Named One of Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s “Up & Coming Lawyers”

The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that Amber Sturrus has been named one of Michigan Lawyers Weekly’s “Up & Coming Lawyers” for 2014. This distinct honor was awarded to only 30 Michigan young lawyers that “display the ambition, drive, determination and accomplishments to set them apart from their peers.”
Sturrus practices in Miller Canfield’s Banking Group (Grand Rapids office). She represents lenders and borrowers in syndicated and bilateral commercial finance transactions, including asset-based lending, real estate and construction lending, tax/incentive-based lending and loan workouts.
She received her J.D. (2007) from the University of Illinois Law School and her B.A. (2004) from Calvin College.
