November 13, 2014

Miller Canfield, with offices in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Poland and China, announced that U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers ranked the firm among the nation’s best law firms in the 2015 edition of “Best Law Firms.”

Miller Canfield received national first-tier rankings in Labor & Employment Litigation, Labor Law-Management, and Public Finance Law. In all, the firm was ranked nationally in 22 practice areas.

In addition, Miller Canfield has more first-tier metropolitan rankings than any other law firm in Michigan – 71 in all.

The U.S. News & World Report-Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” 2015 rankings are based on the highest number of participating firms and highest number of client ballots on record. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer listed in Best Lawyers, which recognizes the top four percent of practicing attorneys in the US. Over 12,000 attorneys provided over 330,000 law firm assessments and almost 7,000 clients provided close to 20,000 evaluations. In addition, to provide personal insight, a new Law Firm Leaders Survey was implemented in the decision-making process.
