107 Miller Canfield Lawyers Named Super Lawyers and Rising Stars in 2014; Cranmer Again Named Top Lawyer in Michigan

September 11, 2014

Miller Canfield announced today that 107 of its lawyers have been recognized in Super Lawyers in 2014.  Seventy-one lawyers were named as “Super Lawyers” in Michigan; three in Illinois; and one in Ohio. Twenty-seven lawyers in Michigan were named as “Rising Stars;” four in Illinois; and one in New York.

Special recognition went to Thomas W. Cranmer, whom the publication ranked as the top lawyer in Michigan. Cranmer is the leader of Miller Canfield’s Litigation Practice Group.  His practice focuses largely on white-collar criminal defense, complex commercial litigation and "bet-the-company" litigation. This is the third time in four years that Cranmer has been hailed as the top lawyer in the state.

Megan P. Norris (Employment and Labor, Detroit office) was also ranked within the Top 100 Lawyers in Michigan.

Norris was also one of three Miller Canfield lawyers listed among the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Michigan, as well as Amy M. Johnston (Personal Injury Defense: Products, Detroit office).
