Jeffrey Richardson to Discuss CFIUS Compliance in Webcast

Miller Canfield senior attorney Jeffrey Richardson will discuss critical technologies and their impact on Chinese purchasers as part of a The Knowledge Group webinar panel on July 8, 2014 at 10 am ET.

In the “CFIUS and FINSA Hot Topics in 2014,” Richardson will be part of a panel that will discuss the emerging trends surrounding the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. (CFIUS) and the Foreign Investment and National Security Act of 2007, compliance and give tips on successfully navigating the acquisitions process.

Richardson, an international/export controls lawyer, will focus on software and other advanced technologies and how they can complicate the acquisition of American companies by foreign purchasers.
