Miller Canfield Lawyer Soni Mithani Appointed a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation

The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that principal Soni H. Mithani (Ann Arbor, Mich. office) has been appointed a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.

Only 1/3 of one percent of lawyers admitted to practice in each jurisdiction of the United States is invited to become a Fellow of the organization. The American Bar Foundation was founded in 1952 by the American Bar Association, and is recognized as “the premier institute for social science research on law in the United States.”

At Miller Canfield, Mithani specializes in litigation and dispute resolution. She has handled a variety of business- and government-related matters before trial and appellate courts. She oversees an active and diverse caseload, including commercial contract matters, business tort disputes (including non-compete litigation), construction cases, fraud and abuse claims, and municipal litigation. 

Mithani earned a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School, graduating cum laude, and a bachelor’s degree from University of Michigan, with high distinction, Phi Beta Kappa.
