Miller Canfield Announces its Morning Update Series Focusing on Labor and Employment Law Issues

The law firm of Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C. announces its Morning Update series – bi-monthly, Tuesday morning informational seminars focusing on labor and employment law issues. Morning Updates are structured for human resources professionals, CEOs, and business owners.

"Recent Fair Labor Standards Act Developments," Tuesday, September 16, 2003, 8:00-9:00 a.m.

This seminar will include the Bush administration’s proposed regulations and will focus on avoiding liability now and in the future under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Included will be a discussion of the proposed changes in the exemption rules and the impact it will have on employers. Practical guidance for achieving compliance and avoiding litigation will also be provided. The Update is presented by Miller Canfield labor and employment attorneys, Michael A. Alaimo and Christopher M. Trebilcock.
