Peter Davenport is a staff attorney in Miller Canfield's Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. Most recently, Peter has nearly four years of experience as a national discovery counsel for OEM automotive manufacturers in the area of warranty litigation. His experience includes all aspects of written discovery and motion practice in state and federal courts across the nation, including e-discovery.

In his decades of practice prior to coming to Miller Canfield, Peter has represented diverse litigation clients in complex matters including products liability, personal injury, insurance disputes, and medical, psychiatric, legal and other alleged professional malpractice. For several years his practice focused on auto negligence and related litigation. He has successfully tried numerous civil cases to verdict in both state and federal courts.
